Every year the Veerstichting organizes a symposium, 250 students and 250 so called ‘shapers of society’ participate in the Veerstichting Symposium. The key elements of the symposium are critical reflection on social themes that are not often consciously thought about and inspiring and connecting different generations.
This year’s symposium was different; instead of a 2-day program in the Pieterskerk in Leiden we created a 1,5 hour programme together with the Veerstichting in Studio KC. Speakers like Wopke Hoekstra, Samira Rafaela, Jan Brandsen and Nick Clegg joined to talk about this year’s theme; Who is responsible?
